August 4th–9th, 2024

Creating a Plaza Where People Can Gather

Activities took place in two locations: the Shinhama district and the Ido district. In the Shinhama district, we recreated Bridge for All (Temporary) (2022) in conjunction with the Teizan Canal Ferry and Shinhama Footpath 2024 held on Saturday, August 3, and after the event, we exchanged ideas with local artists and people active in the area.

In the Ido district, aiming to make the pergola location a public square where both residents and visitors can comfortably spend their time, we created Idohama Terrace and Ido in Ido (Ido’s Well). On Thursday, August 8, a gathering was held with people involved in both Ido and Shinhama districts, and on Saturday, August 10, art node Meeting 12 was held as an open conference to discuss future prospects.
