About

SENDAI IN PROGRESS

Sendai in Progress is a long-term project by artist Tadashi Kawamata. The project is unfolding in several suburbs along the Sendai coast that were devastated by the tsunami that accompanied the Great East Japan Earthquake. Shifting locations, the project engages issues presented by the local area.
