Shinhama Tower

2022

A hexagonal tower that stands between Chochingama Marsh and Shinhama Furusato Forest. Visitors can climb the spiral staircase to get a view of the sea horizon beyond the seawall that was built after the earthquake. The intentionally misaligned planks of wood on the walls of the tower give the work a unique look.
